Ariana Grande Tarot Spreads: A Creative Exercise for Fans

Four reflection cards: Inspiration—What moves me? Craft—What can I practice? Boundaries—What stays private? Next step—What can I do?

Updated

An Ariana Grande-themed tarot spread can be a creative exercise about your response to her work. It cannot establish her private feelings, relationships, health or future. The four-card layout below is an original journal prompt for the reader; it is not an official Ariana Grande spread or a record of a session with her.

Editorial correction: this article previously included imagined dialogue with Grande and unsupported descriptions of her aura, inner life and future. Those passages and graphics have been removed. The revised exercise focuses on the reader’s own creativity and choices.

Use the music as a starting point

Universal Music’s 8 March 2024 release announcement documents the album eternal sunshine and its track list, including saturn returns interlude. A title can invite a listener to explore symbolism. It does not prove that tarot determined an album, that every lyric is autobiography or that a fan knows the artist’s private beliefs.

Choose one song or public performance that interests you. Write down what you actually notice: a contrast in mood, a repeated visual detail, a change in rhythm or a feeling you experience. Then separate that observation from your interpretation. You can enjoy an idea without presenting it as an explanation of the artist’s life.

Try this four-card creative reflection

Use a deck you already own, four blank pieces of paper or simply the questions below. Decide in advance that every position refers to you. You do not need a paid reading or a new deck to complete the exercise.

  1. Inspiration: What moves me? Name a quality you respond to in the work, such as contrast, playfulness or careful detail. Describe your reaction in your own words.
  2. Craft: What can I practice? Choose a skill you can work on: drafting a verse, sketching a scene or preparing a short presentation. Make the task small enough to begin.
  3. Boundaries: What stays private? Decide what you do not want to share with an audience. You can make meaningful art without explaining every personal experience.
  4. Next step: What can I do? Choose one action and a realistic time for it. Review what happened after you try it, rather than treating the card as a forecast.

An example without a celebrity prediction

Suppose you deliberately choose the Star, the Magician, the High Priestess and the World as your four prompts. For this exercise, you might use them to explore inspiration, available tools, privacy and finishing a small piece. These are optional associations selected for the worksheet, not universal meanings or cards drawn for Grande.

A journal entry might read: “I like the contrast between a quiet beginning and a bright chorus. I will practice that contrast in a short sketch. The personal story behind it can stay in my notebook. On Saturday I will finish one version and decide whether to share it.” The value comes from the observation and follow-through.

Keep a written reading clear

If you request a reading by email, ask for the question, card positions, interpretation and practical suggestions to be separated. A useful response should explain its reasoning and leave room for you to disagree. Avoid paying for claims of access to an artist’s secret messages, relationships or unreleased work.

The same distinction applies in our guide to understanding a written I Ching reading: symbolic material can support reflection while factual claims still need evidence. Our review of an alleged Beyoncé tarot career story shows why the identity of the person who actually received a reading matters.

Share the exercise without inventing a connection

Introduce your post as a fan-created reflection about your own creative process. Avoid implying endorsement or calling it Grande’s personal reading. Do not turn a card into a claim about her romantic life or a prediction of tragedy. A respectful caption can simply explain what the music prompted you to make and what you learned by trying.

Frequently asked questions

1. Is this an actual tarot reading for Ariana Grande?

No. It is an original fan-oriented exercise about the reader’s response to music and their own creative choices. Grande did not participate.

2. Is this spread endorsed by Ariana Grande?

No endorsement is claimed. The four positions were created for this article and should not be presented as an official artist product or practice.

3. Does the article establish whether she uses tarot privately?

No. The cited album announcement is not evidence about private tarot use. This exercise does not depend on making that claim.

4. Do I need a tarot deck?

No. Write the four questions on paper and answer them directly. Cards are optional visual prompts.

5. What do the four positions mean?

Inspiration asks what moves you; craft asks what you can practice; boundaries asks what stays private; next step asks what you can do. Every position refers to you.

6. Should I shuffle or choose cards deliberately?

Either approach works for this reflective exercise. Note which method you used so you do not later describe a deliberate choice as a surprising draw.

7. Which song should I choose?

Choose one you want to think about. There is no required song, and you can focus on sound, presentation or your own response without quoting lyrics.

8. Do card meanings have to match the example?

No. The example offers optional associations for this worksheet. Explain your interpretation and allow a different one if it fits your reflection better.

9. What if I draw a card that worries me?

You can pause or set it aside. A card does not establish that harm will happen to you or to the artist.

10. Can the Lovers card reveal Grande’s relationship status?

No. A card drawn by a fan does not verify another person’s private relationship or intentions.

11. Can this spread predict her next album or role?

No. Use official announcements for release information. The next-step position concerns an action you choose for your own work.

12. Does a spiritual song title prove a spiritual practice?

No. A title is part of a creative work. It does not by itself establish the artist’s beliefs, rituals or reasons for making a decision.

13. How should I request a written version?

State that the question concerns your creativity, name the four positions and ask the reader to distinguish interpretation from factual claims. Agree on the price and scope first.

14. What belongs in a public caption?

Say that the exercise is fan-created and describes your own response. Do not imply contact, endorsement or knowledge of the artist’s private life.

15. How can I tell whether the exercise helped?

Check whether it led to a useful observation or a concrete action you wanted to take. A meaningful journal entry does not require a prediction to come true.

Conceptual scene; not a photograph of a historical event or a historical document.
